I got ambitious this afternoon and shortened the driver side running board 8" so it would go back on. I still need to grind the welds but it is a start I guess.

And a trail Fit

Thanks,
No the guy I bought it from started to shorten the bed but never finished it. I will need to weld the whole back section back on to be able to get a tail gate on it.

Spent yesterday afternoon on the truck and welded all the bed supports back on and reassembled the rest of it. I made a quick video and put it up for sale. It's funny this is the first time since i have owned the truck all the body has been bolted together.

Lets see if there is ant interest in it.

Just testing the waters. I have been toying with the idea of dumping it now before I start to invest any real money it, but now that we have seen it mostly all together it is hard to not want to finish the build on it, It is a neat looking truck down in the weeds. The fact is I need to cut something loose or nothing will get built. I dont have the funds or the garage space to do all three so something will need to go & it aint going to be my 68 SS/RS.

On a positive note, I sold the old straight axle I pulled out from under the White truck today for a "C" Note. Got to love craigs list. I was about ready to just haul it to the dump because I was tired of tripping over it.
